Ohio Express International Pte Ltd was inaugurated in 1979 specifically as freight forwarders for the perishables market in Brunei. However, since then, Ohio has moved on to become an international freight forwarder and logistics provider.
Ohio now have an established network of overseas partners covering the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, Asia and Australasia. Our network of overseas partners allows us to offer our customers a full scope of services by both air and sea, export or import, these ranging from traditional forwarding requirements to fully integrated logistic services and projects. Additionally, we are continually sourcing for strategically placed partners where we currently have no representation in order that we can expand and further strengthen our overseas network.
Our Head Office and main facility is located at Changi South and is the home of our main warehouse and office operations, and include facilities as outlined below.
Our entire facility is covered externally by CCTV and internally by both CCTV and Infrared alarm systems.
Our warehouse facility consists of 1500 m2 available floor space. The available floor space is segregated down as follows:
Our office facility houses our Management, Ocean freight Operations, Sales, Customer Services, Accounting, Transport and Administration departments.
Our office facility houses our airfreight Management and airfreight operational departments.
We have our own modern and well-maintained fleet of trucks, consisting of both covered, open and tail-lift vehicles.
Office Our Airport facility is located in the heart of the Cargo Terminal at Changi International Airport, giving easy access to the airlines and their warehouse facilities. Our Airport office offers the following facilities.
Our warehouse has a fully covered and secured floor space area of 120 m2, along with a racked area. This facility is designed as a short term holding area only for our export and import airfreight shipments.
Both our Changi South and Airport offices are linked to CCN (Cargo Community Network). This link gives us EDI links with the airlines, the Customs & Excise departments and both SATS and CIAS (Ground Handling Terminals). In addition to this Ohio has its own in-house I.T. system covering the full spectrum of our operation.I.T. infrastructure is another area where we are continually looking toward new technology to further enhance our own performance, which in turn will allow us to provide our customers with ever improving levels of service.
